Who’s Your Pest Specialist?

Whos Your Pest SpecilaistWho’s your Pest Specialist? Who do you trust to make you feel safe from insects, spiders, rodents, and other unwanted pests? The experts I know, and trust have been around for forty years, Live Oak Pest Control. There are many reasons why I choose them over their competitors, ranging from great service to the extensive knowledge each technician possesses.

Founders Bob and Frances McGranahan started Live oak Pest control back in 1972 and made a promise to their customers, “to always provide the best pest control service around”, and they have. All Specialists must undergo a background check through both FDLE and the Driver’s License Bureau before they are hired. This way they know exactly who will be coming to your home or business. Only people with a squeaky-clean record work at Live Oak Pest Control and take care of my house and lawn.

Once hired each technician must follow several guidelines to ensure the best quality service available: They must complete 160 hours minimum to become a Pest Specialist, plus a one-hour training course every month and a two-hour safety course each year. Then Live Oak Pest Control trains on their high standards for customer service. I feel more comfortable when I know the Specialist coming to my door will be courteous and always have a respectful attitude is always wearing a clean and neat uniform with the Live Oak Pest Control logo (in plain sight), and will be arriving in front of my house in a clean and tidy Live Oak Pest Control fleet vehicle.

Now, not all Pest Specialists treat every pest problem. Just as not every doctor specializes in all types of care. Live Oak Pest Control has:

  • General Household Pest (GHP) Specialists
  • General Household Pest and Lawn Specialists
  • Termite Only Specialists
  • General Household Pest, Lawn, and Termite Specialists
  • State Certified Operators for General Household Pest, Lawn, and Termite
  • State Certified Operator for General Household Pests

(A State Certified Operator is an operator who can operate his/her own branch office or their own company. This person (s) must undergo and complete several more hours of training courses and tests to become a SCO.)

All our Pest Specialists combined plus in house staff members’ give Live Oak Pest Control an impressive staff of over 35 to serve customers (like me) all over North Central Florida like Live Oak, Lake City, Perry, Steinhatchee, Jasper, Branford, High Springs and almost to Gainesville. Knowing who’s coming to my door assures me of who to call when I have a pest problem I cannot solve, Live Oak Pest Control.
