Habitat

Most of the time black widow spiders spin their web near the ground and will often live in secure areas that are not bothered often such as boxes and firewood. Firewood is the main cause of black widow spiders in the home from wood being carried inside.

Black widow spiders can be found in the entire United States including North Central Florida and is known as the most venomous spider in North America.
