Live Oak Pest Specialist Checklist

Each Pest Specialist © has to have a minimum of 160 training hours recorded and must also do remarkably well during training
and testing.
Live Oak Pest Control is serious about maintaining a great reputation and one of the ways we do it is by hiring pest specialists (or promoting a technician to a specialist) that pass the level 2 FDLE background check including the Florida Division of Drivers License check. Live Oak Pest Control only hires pest specialists with a clean driving record and clean backround check; we are very strict in this area!

All of our pest specialists must be able to read a map, have good math and communication skills as well as good character and attitude. Live Oak Pest Control expects nothing less than our specialists being courteous and respectful at each and every client. Each specialist has to wash their service vehicle on a weekly basis; we do not hire out.

Here at Live Oak Pest Control, we make safety and training a top priority. Our standards are set higher than the state of Florida; they only require 2 hours of training on pesticide use and handling safety throughout the year. This is what we call CORE training and we always incorporate safety training throughout the year. Live Oak Pest Control takes the states training a step further and requires our specialists to undergo at least an hour of training each and every month. This way all of our specialists have the most up-to-date information and technology available regarding the current materials and pest control industry.
