At Live Oak Pest Control we provide our customers with educated, highly trained, knowledgeable, pest control service team in North Central Florida. Each individual undergoes a minimum of 160 hours of education and testing, product safety and customer service training before they serve even one Live Oak Pest Control customer.
Pest Specialists attend monthly service, education and training meetings to assure the highest level of competency and customer service.

Each pest technician must undergo 160 hours of training and rigorous initial testing before becoming a Live Oak Pest Control Pest Specialist. Training includes application, safety, new technology and customer service.
Our Pest Specialists then attend additional monthly training in our specialized training facility located near our office in McAlpin Florida.
Each Pest Specialist must possess the following qualities:
- 1. Courteous & respectful attitude
- 2. Level 2 FDLE Background Check
- 3. Clean driving record
- 4. Minimum of 160 training hours
- 5. One hour CORE training per month
- 6. Two hours state training
- 7. Clean & neat uniforms

What It Takes:
Live Oak Pest Control is serious about maintaining our excellent reputation for customer satisfaction. Before becoming a Pest Specialist he or she must pass the level 2 FDLE Background Check including a Florida Division of Driver’s License check. Live Oak Pest Control only hires individuals with a clean background and driving record.
All of our Pest Specialists must be able to read a map, have good math and communication skills as well as be of good character and attitude. Live Oak Pest Control expects each Pest Specialist be courteous and respectful to every customer.
We make safety and training our top priority. The State of Florida requires only two hours training then we add an additional one hour per month CORE training on pesticide use, handling and safety. Live Oak Pest Control requires Pest Specialists to attend a minimum of one hour of training each month, providing our customers with the most up-to-date information and technology in the pest control industry.
